About Bill Jordan

FIDE Master Bill Jordan has a fine history in chess, being Australian Junior Champion in 1974, former Australian Postal Champion, an ex-president of the Melbourne Chess Club and a computer chess-software programmer: he has a long list of state and national tournament honours to his name. Bill is an experienced individual and group coach, he has a wide and deep understanding of many opening systems and chess positions in general.

This photo was taken at the Waverley Chess Club when it was the strongest chess club in Australia. At the time I was State Junior champion and shortly afterwards became the Australian Junior champion.
This was taken around when I was playing in the Australian correspondence championship.
This was about five years ago.
Here I am recently receiving a trophy at one of the Billanook opens.
